CPES members may join the waiting list - see more below.] The CPES New Energy Professionals (NEPs) will host an exclusive members-only tour of the Northfield Mountain Pumped Hydro Storage Station in Northfield, MA, on Friday, October 16! Members of the Northeast Energy & Commerce Association (NECA) will also be in attendance. Tickets include transportation to/from the Hartford area to Northfield Mountain and lunch.
Northfield Mountain, FirstLight’s flagship facility, is New England’s largest energy storage facility. This giant water battery is capable of powering more than 1 million homes for up to 7.5 hours each and every day, making it an ideal solution to help other intermittent renewable resources.
